Merwin & Bray Ballard Patent Breechloading 56-56 Spencer Rimfire Carbine***Price Reduction***
Customer says it is in 56-56 Spencer rimfire. With a near excellent bore.
There are no US markings, so while its time frame dates to the Civil War, there is no indication of US issue wich is not uncommon for firearms like this. Left side of frame is marked "MERWIN & BRAY". Right side is stamped "BALLARD PATENT 1861" but you can only see the 1861. Features 22" round barrel, single band with swivel, dovetail front sight, folding leaf rear sight, walnut stocks, swivel at base of stock and barrel band, under lever, single shot, breechloading carbine. Metal parts appear to have an old aging reblue but goes well with the carbine. Wood looks good with no breaks or cracks. Antique firearm will ship direct to customer in most states.
