Antique Rolling Block Carbine 50-70***Sold***

Antique Remington Rolling Block carbine parts gun in 50-70 Government with a 23" barrel and an excellent bore. The receiver shows signs of having been pitted but has no active rust. This gun appears to be assembled with original parts. The wood is solid but is undersized especially around the upper tang with dings and nicks expected with a gun of this age. Blade front sight and original rear ladder sight marked to an optimistic 1300 yards. Three digit serial number is marked on the left side of the receiver and lower tang with the date of 1869 on the right side of the receiver making this a very early rolling block.
