The 1860 was issued to Federal troops and purchased or otherwise acquired by Confederates. Many original C.C. photos show southern troopers armed with a brace of 60's. Specs-Standard blued finish, color case hardened frame, 44 Caliber, 8" barrel length, one piece walnut grips, brass trigger guard and back strap.
